The White House and the Moncloa have confirmed that US. President Donald Trump wil have a 20 minute phone call with Spanish Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy. The call is meant to strengthen ties between the two countrie. Rajoy is expected to encourage the US president to help boost the Spanish and European economies, to tackle inequality and discuss defence measures and the fight against terrorism.
I think the way the US and Spain have a good communication gives everyone peace in mind. Regardless of the country differences I think is a good idea to share ideas and keep each other in mind.
This article is relevant to politics because it shows how Spain also has troubles with terrorism and economy. The article emphasized how Spain sicks helped from other country’s presidents every once in awhile to get help.
